Hi guys thought I'd share a couple of really interesting videos on squatting bio mechanics that are an absolute MUST SEE for those of us with long femurs. Lifters with long femurs will often have a comparatively weak squat (especially compared to their deadlift) and will most probably not enjoy them a great deal as we tend to fold into a crumpled mess instead of keeping an upright torso and ensuring maximum quad activation.
As the videos explain with just a minor adjustment of foot width it is quite easy to assume the bio mechanics of a more genetically blessed squatter as it reduces the relative length of the femur in the line of force and allows the torso to stay more upright throughout the squat.
